What does "Refurbished" mean?
All refurbished products work 100% and have a perfect screen
These products are used products, that come with a warranty. They have been extensively cleaned, checked and serviced, to give you most of the experience and product support of a new item, but at less cost. The following actions are performed during refurbishment:
1. - Thorough cleaning
2. - Checking all keys work
3. - If there are any problems with the screen (missing pixels, scratches, bruises), the screen component is replaced with a new one: All refurbished products have a perfect screen
4. - Missing or damaged rubber feet are replaced with new items
5. - Battery terminals are checked for damage and leaking battery electrolyte
6. - A brand new printed Quick Start guide is included if mentioned in the product description
7. - A brand new USB cable is included if mentioned in the product description
Refurbished products will have minor scuff marks. If that is not desirable, then new products of the same model and colour are often available at about $20 more
GST
Prices are displayed with and without GST. Ex GST prices are shown as "ex. tax". A GST receipt will be emailed to you after purchase.
Currency
The currency is displayed in the top right of each page, and defaults to your region. If you are in New Zealand, then the currency symbol is "NZD" in the top right. If not displayed, buyer has responsibility for ensuring expected currency is charged.
Shipping
All items ready to ship from New Zealand no later than next business day. Pickup is available from Cambridge. In the checkout, shipping is available to New Zealand and Australia addresses only. For other countries, please ask for a shipping quote via the Contact page
Shipping times are as per NZ Post, NZ Courier Post and Aramex website terms and conditions for tracked items. Typically, transit time is 1 to 2 days within New Zealand, 7 days to Australia, and 7 to 10 days to USA.
Unless prior arrangements have been made, orders are dispatched by tracked courier, requiring signature. However, you can contact the courier to change this after you receive the dispatch email. If NZ Post has been used for the courier, then clicking the link in the dispatch email will easily allow you to have the courier leave the parcel without signature, or re-direct it.
Payment
Payment is by credit card, PayPal or NZ bank deposit. To pay by NZ bank deposit, use the "Contact" page rather than shopping cart. State the products you need and your address
Guarantees
Come-Here is "in business" and "in trade" operating in New Zealand, and therefore complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act.
The Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) protects consumers by:
- Allowing consumers to seek repairs, replacements or refunds when goods are faulty
- Setting minimum guarantees for all products and services
Come-Here warrants that both new and second-hand consumer products sold on this site are:
- Of acceptable quality
- Fit for a particular purpose
- Match description, sample or demonstration model
- Are of reasonable price
- Will arrive on time and in good condition
- Have spare parts and repair facilities available
- Have manufacturer’s guarantee/warranty

Damage due to battery leakage
Almost all suppliers' warranties exclude damage caused by leaking batteries.
However, damage due to battery leakage is covered in the warranty, if the batteries used in the calculators are purchased from Come-Here, either as a separate item, or included as a product. In order to establish that the batteries used in the item were purchased from Come-Here, the leaking battery must accompany the calculator being returned under a warranty claim.
Returns
Returns are accepted in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
Please use the Contact form to arrange return before sending the item back.
You can return an item due to change of mind up to 14 days after you receive it (21 days between 24 December and 10 Januray), conditional upon:
- Returning the goods in the same condition they were sent in
- You pay the return shipping
- The calculators have been not been marked (e.g. laser marked)
